Minolta X-9

The Minolta X-9 is a 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) film camera introduced around 1990. Designed for photographers who appreciate traditional film photography, it features manual focusing, interchangeable lenses, and a through-the-lens (TTL) exposure meter. Its classic black body and straightforward controls make it a suitable addition to a vintage camera collection or a starting point for exploring analog photography. The camera uses standard 35mm film to produce 24 × 36 mm photographs and is compatible with Minolta SR-mount lenses, including many MC and MD lenses. Its electronically controlled focal-plane shutter offers speeds from 1/1000 second to 4 seconds, with Bulb mode for long exposures. Aperture-priority automatic exposure helps adjust shutter speed to the selected aperture, while manual mode gives photographers greater creative control. The optical viewfinder features a split-image focusing aid and LED exposure information.
